With your Aetna Medicare plan, you'll get a hearing allowance of $100 once every 12 months.
What is included?
- Eye exams and LASIK eye surgery
- Non-disposable contact lenses
- Frames, lens cleaners, sunglasses and more
How it works?
- You must pay the provider, then submit a claim for reimbursement. You are responsible for any amount that exceeds the allowance.
- You are also eligible for a discount at Hearing Care Solutions (HCS) or Amplifon providers.
- To be eligible for a discount, you must schedule an appointment through HCS or Amplifon. Members can call Member Services for assistance.

Hearing Aid Allowance
With your Aetna Medicare plan, you'll get a hearing allowance of $600 once every 36 months (every three years). And you have freedom to go to any licensed provider to access the benefit.
What is included?
- Hearing exams and hearing aids
- Batteries and repairs
- Routine cleanings and other hearing aid services
How it works?
- You must pay the provider, then submit a claim for reimbursement. You are responsible for any amount that exceeds the allowance.
- You are also eligible for a discount at Hearing Care Solutions (HCS) or Amplifon providers.
- To be eligible for a discount, you must schedule an appointment through HCS or Amplifon. Members can call Member Services for assistance.
